The Uechiryu Butokukai℠ has the most viable group of Hanshi in the world. This dedicated upper echelon of martial artists are tasked with a mission they are uniquely qualified for: The development of Uechiryu for future generations to benefit from.

Hanshis of the Uechiryu Butokukai℠ conduct training classes, help run the large events of the Uechiryu Butokukai, participate in outside Butokukai events to foster relationshis and meet semiannually to discuss the future of Uechiryu.
