Uechi Kancho Training Program

For those who want to be the best of the best! The Kancho program combines the year of experience of the Uechiryu Butokukai with the resources and training provided by the New England Martial Arts Foundation. 

Kanchos of the Uechiryu Butokukai℠ are the instructors and dojo owners on the cutting edge. While a Hanshi and Hanshi-Sei will set a guideline or come up with a revised method of practice, it is the Kancho makes it a reality. A Kancho helps the current generation of students understand and benefit from this wisdom.

A Kancho’s work is relentless and never ending. As such, great effort goes into the training and resources available for these dedicated Martial Artists. Like the Kanchos themselves, the resources and training is continually evolving and improving.

Kancho training is similar to Shihan training, but adds the business element to it.

Training for the certification is similar to the instructor’s training that we have used in the past, and includes.

  • Weekly Training classes with Mr. Traynor, along with weekly Instructional material.

  • Quarterly Training Seminars 

  • Uechi Invitational Tournament Registration (for the Kancho to participate)

  • UechiCon full weekend of training 

  • NEMAF Banquet registration (enough for Kancho and a guest)

  • Access to Terabytes of Photos and Video material for Kanchos to help assist in upcoming events.
